My Life Experiences using ICT as a STEM Student

ICT stands for Information and Communication Technologies, and it refers to the combination of manufacturing and service businesses that electronically record, transmit, and display data and information. Being a student in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM Strand) who is exposed to complex mathematical and scientific theories and concepts that will serve as a foundation for our college courses. A difficult but worthwhile experience.

Access to information is becoming more affordable and economically viable since technology has made it just one step away, and as a student, it greatly helps me not only access material but also interact with my family, teachers, friends, and classmates.

For example, the development of new, inventive ways to connect and communicate with peers, increased engagement rates, faster learning, and improved learning methods are all advantages of ICT in learning.

As a student, having a variety of resources such as animations, audiovisual materials, graphics, interactive programs, and multimedia tools that reinforce our understanding encourages my comprehension and interest.

ICT plays a crucial part in our daily lives, leading to the progress of both ourselves and our communities. ICT has an impact on our daily life, both positively and negatively. ICT is designed to make our life easier, but we also leave treasured memories behind. Always remember to utilize proper etiquette when using ICT as a medium.

Since the scheduled dates for face-to-face classes have been limited due to heat exposure that may potentially lead the students to have heatstrokes or some heat problems, the participation between teacher and students has become less, especially in our PEH subject, which has only 1 hour of sessions per week that become 2 hours per month.

Furthermore, influencers and content creators are now featured on all social media networks for their creative abilities, which may motivate an individual to steadily improve. It also aids in evaluation and assessment because ICT is another tool that allows us students to readily evaluate such things.

Because most of us use ICT, it boosts student productivity. There's more motivational and inspirational material in there that will help us learners be more productive.

The use of ICT in education increases student engagement and knowledge retention. Students become more involved in their work when ICT is introduced into lessons. This is because technology provides several options to make learning the same topics in different methods more exciting and fulfilling.
